A local coffee shop owner asked me if I'd like to put up some of my photos in his place for a couple of months. He often hung art work by local artists and had an empty slot coming up. This gave me the kick in the butt I needed to move ahead with something that was on my to-do-someday list. In a short period of time I needed to decide which photos I wanted to show and how to frame/present them. I ended up hanging around 30 pictures of various sizes. Looking back that was perhaps a bit too enthusiastic. I couldn't decide which type of my pictures I wanted to showcase, so I ended up showing some landscapes, macros, portraits, digital art, street and even some underwater stuff. I did end up selling a number of them, but more importantly I took a big step in doing something I have always wanted to do. Yay me.
